There was a documentary on bbc scotland last year on a scottish artsit. I had never heard of him before & i only caught the end of it. Have been lookin' out for him ever since but havent had any luck. He was in his 50s or early 60s, his work was quite radical... I know this is very vague, but does anyone think they might know who i'm talkin about?

I've watched the documentary entire now; hugely impressive. Thanks again. You really do Gray justice. I'm heading up for the EIFF in a couple of weeks, hoping crossed that he'll be at the reading from 'Poor Things'. I'll never forget a charity do I was taken to a few years back. It was held in a church off Aston Lanes, Glasgow, the ceiling of which Gray himself had painted, and the line-up included Eddi Reader, Alasdair Gray, Jim Kelman, Liz Lochead, and Tom Leonard. Blew my tiny mind!

I'd never heard Alasdair read his work before, much less appear on TV. Grateful thanks for putting it up! (You don't have anything by Jeff Torrington anywhere as well, do you?)
