@oblivion7695 i think since Gil did most of the mixing and producing he simply wanted his vocals to be the main focal point. good album but as you said Bloodsongs is a better album. GMPD rocks and has for may years now. i do agree Donny needed more tracking but we are all entitled to an opinion.

I Love this video, it captures so many emotions, it take me away from lifes problems. Donny voice is amazing and the new album .. you don't get a feel for it.. It's not produce with his voice in mind... The New Album is beautiful.. but Bloodsongs is more true to who I think this Band really is.. I had part in filming them, my shots were on the left side of the stage. I Love this Band I love how they compose their music, and their Creativity, their Lyric are very Original.

I agree, the album is lacking something and i think it's the strong voice of the ultimate........ the new album is really good but it's almost over produced leaving out the poetic symmetry of DONNY..... Don't get me wrong I have the new album, it's the best thing I'm listening too right now..... GOOD JOB FELLERS,,,,, Overall I give it a 8,,,Bloodsongs, a 9, B/C nothing is perfect to deserve 10..........
