Curry is the spice of life That is how I met my wife She’s my little spicy vindaloo You can eat with rice Or chapati, very nice Don’t be scared, come have a bite I promise eat already won’t lau sai They did not understand Why we have to eat curry They suggested we try Hong Kong mee Maybe cook it with some ghee Now we can only cook when they’re out Perhaps we’re China now And my house must be airtight On every curry, curry night No smell will stand a chance of getting through

Curry curry night Close the windows, shut the door Neighbour got complain before Their foreign noses cannot stand the smell It’s our favourite dish Sometimes chicken, sometimes fish What happened to our right to live Our right to cook the things we like to eat They did not understand Why we have to eat curry They suggested we try Hokkien mee That one also got chilli Their skin as thick as a xiao long bao They’re not in china now Curry Curry night

@eddelimit Do you seriously, think this is 无聊? This incidence tells us so much about PRCs here. At the same time, It tells us how tolerant the Indian family is. Bravo, bro. (BTW, I;m Chinese/Singaporean)
I am not curry lover, nor curry eater and not even Singaporean. But I believe, as we are the one who come and want to make our life in Singapore, we should take effort to adapt instead of complaining and expect the world to be about you.

I am a Chinese and I have to say that Chinese family that moved to Singapore and start complaining the neighbour for cooking curry is so rediculous, They are so self- centered. When Singapore accept you to immigrate there, you should adopt their different cultural, not asking others to change it because of you. You are shaming yourself and the rest of the Chinese
