This is a very rare record produced by Alan Light. Less than 500 were pressed and only available to those who ordered them from the 1975 San Diego Comic-Con convention. Alan Light gave me permission to make this available to the public.

This track features Stan Lee's lecture. The picture of Stan is a rare one too: You don't see many where he doesn't have a mustache?

I will be posting more tracks soon.

  • Yes, Stan Lee had already done a Rockomic album in 1972 and toyed with the idea about an opera - inspired by the Who's "Tommy" movie. Unfortunately it was never realized.

  • if the founding fathers could see comic con now.....either they would be REALLY REALLY PISSED....or REALLY REALLY PROUD.....because "commercial" is a funny word.....

  • I was actually at the SDCC that year. Wonder if I can hear myself in the background.

  • The Spiderman movie concept he mentions around 8:40 sounds awesome. Rock opera!
