Sad but true. Fortunately, I never had an idea that I was not black. From 1967-1973 my mom and dad pretty much let me live part-time with a black family down the road about a half a mile.

i grew up in the north and i went to catholic schools was never taught about what was going in the south all we heard was it was never that bad until bull conners unleashed his cops and his dogs and fire hoses on those protesters in the south for the whole world to see and that was the beginning of the end but it really hasn;t changed down south

@leroymoorejr Well I just thought it was about a cub who became a beautiful big lioness, who came to care for some humans and then cared enough to bring her cubs to show off. The music highlights the fact that the cat was "Born Free" and was allowed to return to the wild. Matt Monroe did it the best..
