This is so twisted. If my dad wanted to pay my bail, I'd let him but only because I could earn money and pay him back. If I did something terrible and the punishment was horrific and my dad said, "don't worry I'll torture and kill your brother instead." I'd tell him to go fuck himself because that's the furthest thing from justice, it's pure evil. Anyone with any integrity would do the same.
