Drak'Tharon Keep - Hunter soloing Novos the Summoner

Oh Novos, how I despise you.

This fight has two distinct phases. One is strictly dealing with a larger number of adds and having to take down 4 Crystal Handlers or whatever, and the other is killing the boss.

The key to the first part is to run to the hallways that the crystal guys spawn right away to shorten the time in the adds phase. You can't FD during this fight, so use misdirect and time pulls with your pets Thunderstomp. Be sure to kill as many of the adds as you can before finishing off the last Crystal guy.

The second phase involves line of sighting the boss and letting your pet do all the damage and you acting as the healer. This part takes a while. In the hallway down almost to the other room is a spot where you can avoid the frostbolt and the shadow damage dot MOST of the time. Run out every once in a while to cast bestial wrath and keep your pet healed, but know you will probably take damage and need to use bandages on cooldown.
