Someone Built A Better Mouse, Take TWO!

Houdini-Mouse Finally Gets Caught! Not in THIS video though. He came back three different times in less than an hour, and the trap didn't close on him even ONE time! Quality product there, Tomcat! But as I was finishing up editing this video, finally he put enough weight on the back of the trap to close it, and I heard it *snick* closed. I took him outside before he could poke his way back out again. Hopefully he was the last of his family to go and that'll be the last mouse for a while. Man, he got lucky. If we hadn't caught him tonight, it would have been a snappy kill trap put out for him tomorrow. Whew! Really would have hated to kill such a cute little critter like that. :D
