Flash CS3 drawing tutorial part1 - intro

The intro for a series I'm planning on making. I talk about Drawing Objects, (which were new to Flash 8) and how I use them and why.

I'm not sure when I will get around to making the series, probably sooner if there is more interest.

cool would you recomend flash CS3 more than flash 8?

If you're on Mac, then I'd recommend CS3 since it was updated for Intel and Leopard. For PC Flash 8 is most stable version if you just want to draw and animated.

Personally I'd go with CS3, but that's because I do some ActionScript 3, and you can't do AS3 in Flash 8. But if you're not interested in doing ActionScript then it doesn't matter as much.

I use CS3 every day at work, so I'm really used to the small things they added and changed in CS3 that would make it harder for me to go back to Flash 8 but that wouldn't be a problem for a new user.

Btw, I've tried CS4, and from the brief use I've had I didn't like it much, I'd say the new features aren't better for character animation and the Flash play 10 stage feels weird in a bad way, everything feels less consistent and more quirky than ever! Not sure how they managed that.
