You are taking music way to seriously. I don't like Slipknot either but I wouldn't wish death on anyone just cause of the band they're in. Just cause someone likes a band that you don't like dosn't them "scum" The poor guy was only 35 and his wife was pregnent with his baby, but acording to you he "didn't deserve to live" because he didn't like the same music as you?

    Get a life you prick.

  • I had the good fortune of meeting Lemmy on a couple of occasions and he was extremely affable and engaging! He seemed a bit impressed with me when I brought up the fact that he did roadie work for Hendrix a couple of times.

  • @ThazuaBlackarrow you're not supposed to forget or whitewhash. That rule doesn't apply to public figures. However, there's no need to be callous about a man's death. He's done nothing to you. His crappy music hasn't hurt you.

  • @Brandt761 So I'm supposed to forget the shitty music and style he contributed to just because he died and is human?

White-washing dead people is absurd, and Lemmy has said that himself. In the end, Paul Gray was a talentless hack in a shitty band in life, he will be remembered as a talentless hack in a shitty band in death.

  • @ThazuaBlackarrow yes he would, because even a "talentless wannabe" is still a human being. And unlike some people, Lemmy clearly understands this.

  • @Brandt761 Lemmy doesn't like Slipknot, and he doesn't believe in whitewashing someone just because he/she died. I'm sure he wouldn't wish for someone's death, but he surely wouldn't give a fuck if some talentless wannabe in a shitty band like Slipknot died.

  • @braddudeguy Don't worry dude, there's plenty of us that fuckin hate em too. They've dragged the good name of metal through shit...

Metal having been given such an outstanding name by gods like Dio and Motorhead. RIP Ronnie.

  • @metalmaniac2493 yeah, that's seriously screwed up. And might I say since this is a video of Ronnie's funeral, that _he_ would never have advocated such views, and that's part of what makes him a great character, makes him an example to same. The same probably goes for Lemmie (as far as character goes).

  • you can tell it hit Lemmy hard...

  • Im sorry but what the hell are the comments about slipknot etc on here for?

This is about Motorhead saying goodbye to Ronnie James Dio, a great muscian and friend to them all and one who was a friend to his fans too.

R.I.P RJD your legacy will always live on through the fans

  • @braddudeguy From your avatar you're the one who looks like a little pussy.

  • @braddudeguy ALL of the slipknot fans are dead? Surely this would've made the news?
