@Terapsihora Well, I think that he was just playing the part so that the people who came to help would believe that Lana was in genuine danger. I'm sure he didn't let EVERYONE in on his master plan. Idk why he didn't just try to get Lana pregnant for real. I think he just wanted to trap her into marriage with him because he was afraid that he wasn't enough for her. He probably still felt competitive with Clark.

@Terapsihora P.S. maybe he just stopped giving her the birth control pills so she was having severe period cramps which would definitely make me think I was miscarrying if I were pregnant.

@Terapsihora From what I understand, Lex basically has been drugging Lana with something like birth control pills so that she would think that she was pregnant with his baby. I guess every time they went to appointments about the baby, he bribed the doctors to pretend along with him. He must have drugged her to have that pain to make her think she was miscarrying her baby. Lana gets hurt after the 'miscarriage' & the doctor tells her at the hospital that she was never pregnant.
