  • hi - from time to time i am going back and re-watch your static apnea video - it is really very good - great work - nice video - great performance - i admire you a lot - i am 30 (started freediving 6 months ago) and you were my big inspiration at the bigining and even now i like to watch it

btw - do you now the name of the song and artist you play in the background? thanks a lot

  • It comes from "Silicon Brain album The Healing Power of Aquarius" and the name is Meditation

  • great breath hold, i tried static apnea for the first time today and i have hit 2:35 , i am going to start training now for when i got back home spearfishing. can any1 estimate how much it is possible to increase my breathhold?. i would like to hit 4 minutes static apnea by summer, and maybe about 2 minutes underwater spearfishing, is this too optimistic? i am new to this

  • You can hit 4 minut static easily in few weeks, to do time in the 4 minute range only mental power is needed. With 2 minutes underwater it may be hard, depends at what depth you will dive. 1;30 seems more reasonable, good luck and train safely.

  • thanks for the reply man, last night right after i left the comment i hit 3 minutes, with just metal power like what u said, i even experienced a sort of rush at a point, it was weird. i kept my eyes open on the lookout for tunnel vision or starting to see stars. most of my lobster dive spots are in arround 20 feet of water, and my fish spots 40ft or more. but i dont usually go to bottom when looking for fish,

  • "Sort of rush" is normal in statics, it usually happens midway into the static. after you pass that part the time seems to run faster. Well 40 ft isn't that much and if you train you will achieve 2 minutes bottom time.

  • you not going to upload your new record ?

  • cool thing i can do also 5 min, i hate the last part ahahahha well done too dude... sadly i smoke cigarrets... but i train 2 times swimming but one cigarrete spoil you every extra second...

  • in bed it is more easy to hold breath long because the body loose minimal energy.in bed the heart works slower and so your body dont need so much O2.when you dive your muscles are working so its not the same like static breath holding. i spearfish at 90feet 2.30 minutes and my longest breath hold was 3.30 infront of tv. I watch my breath holding times only during diving and rarely static.

  • @pweidmann1

No, it's not possible to die from statis apnea on land, if you don't black out and hit your head. In water is another thing. I have done over 6 min, my instructor does 7 and the world record is 11 minutes. It's only dangerous if you are under water and do not practice it safely.

  • If you can hold 5 min staticly how long can you hold it underwater while swimming?

  • do that in water kid

  • Fucking bullshit

  • pls can u do another video like this?

  • wow can you do another video like this please?
