Paige's POV:

I looked out my front window and saw Becca and Ali sitting on the curb near my car. They were all ready for our girls day out, and from what it looked like there was no awkwardness at all.

Ill admit, I was a bit nervous about that.. But hey, we're best friends. Everythings gonna be fine.

Before opening my door and grabbing my keys, I double checked myself in the mirror. My dirty blond hair was pulled into a ponytail, and my brown eyes were hidden behind my favorite sunglasses. I slid them to the top of my head before walking outside, being excitedly greeted by Becca and Ali.

"PAIGEEEE!!!!"

Well, Alison hasnt changed. Her loud, loving self tightly wrapped her arms around me after the really loud introduction.

Becca laughed, and hugged me from the other side. "Good to see you again Paigey."

I laughed too, excited to be reunited with them. Ali let go of the death grip and we walked to my car, ready for the fun day ahead.

Nick's POV:

We just finished our last stop of the day, and we were heading back to the hotel to get all our luggage.

Ready to spend 12 hours in the car with Kevin and Joe? I dont think so..
I dont understand why we couldnt just fly there.

My dad is on this weird kick about 'going back to our roots' and 'remembering the way we used to be'. I dont think we have changed.. much.

Before I knew it, my dad was hanging his head in the front window, saying his goodbyes.

"Now, just follow the directions I printed out for you. You should be there a little after noon tomorrow."

Kevin groaned. "Dad, why couldnt you have just let us take the GPS?"

My dad smiled. He was serious about this. "You guys will thank me for this later."

-Are you sure about that?- I chimed in from the backseat. -Im starting to remember what it was like in car rides with Joe.-

Joe turned around from the passenger seat. "Heyy, I was like 8 years old back then!" He stuck his tongue out and turned back around.

I raised my eyebrows. -Seems you havent changed much since then.-

Joe reached back and hit me on the arm, and I hit him back. Before I knew it we were in a brotherly brawl, hitting and punching back and forth.

Dad yelled at us to stop, and we did. Joe, reaching back and punching one last time. Dad sighed. "Well, it seems like your already back to the old days."

"Exactly, so why do we still need to go?!" Joe whined.

"Youll be fine. Have fun!" He hit the side of the car and signaled us to drive off.

-Well.. this will be interesting.-

Kevin turned the wheel onto the road, and we started our journey.
It was gonna be a longggg night.

with the girlss:

Becca: Oh, thats really cute on you Paige.

Paige: You sure? Its not too.. I dont know.. flashy?

Ali: No, definately not! You look hot!

Paige: *laughs* Well, "hot" is not exactly what Im going for! Its dinner with my dad.

Becca: Eh, thats true. Maybe we should find something else.

Paige: *goes back into the changing room* Nah, we can go shopping for you guys now. I dont need to find the outfit until next Saturday.

Ali: Yeahh, true. So your excited to see him?

Paige: Definately. Im so glad hes safe.

Becca: How long ago did he leave?

Paige: 7 months ago. Hes coming home from Afghanistan next Tuesday.

Ali: Aww, Paige thats so awesome. Im so happy for you!

Becca: Yeah, me too!!

Paige: *comes out of the changing room with her regular clothes on* Thanks guys. Now lets keep shopping, we have all day!

*they laugh and link arms, walking out of the store*

???: Rebecca?!

Becca: *turns around* Oh my god..

Ah, who is it?!
How will the car ride with the brothers go?
And how will the dinner with Paige's dad go?
