It is in fact impossible for me to know if some of my videos constitute copyright infringement because all the material I uploaded is the result of TV recording and passion for the music.

@HerrWarja It seems like word painting to me. The edgy conjunct melody seems to me to suggest the movements of someone stumbling or fumbling around in the dark.

I can sing this adequately... just. I do not have those stunning low notes, or the general beauty of voice -- or anywhere near the skill. The production is a bit surreal and sometimes seems too disconnected from the text, but musically this is superb.

My favorite aria from this oratorio. Love the low notes on darkness and the high note on "have seen a great light" A beutiful interpretation of those words by Händel.
