@kroraven Hi Karen ~ that pot that I made with the three bulges ended up in the bin because I left it out and it became too hard ! So I will have to do a repeat. I have done a clip before on this shape though which can be viewed here on this link : see below SL

Hi Simon,
I loved the shape at 15 minutes or so. There was a lovely balance between the top sphere and the rest of the pot. Your problem with this form (if I might say so) is that you are too much of a perfectionist. Have you ever grown butternut squash (two lumps instead of 3)? They are are all different but each is as beautiful as the next. Let go of your cerebral expectations and look at the marvel your wonderful hands have created! Check out 15 minutes!
Be well,
S

@meredithpottery Thanks, well actually I am not a perfectionist at all ! but my goal was 3 lumps not two ! so to that end i was striving. Cerebral expectation actually is not a bad thing, & is necessary to achieve one's goals,to improve one's technique in achieving mastery of the clay. Just letting happen what may happen does not necessarily constitute good art. HEART ~ HAND ~ HEAD all working together ! Thanks for bringing this up ! SL
