Wow, it sounds a lot better than the N64 version.

The arcade uses realistic instruments while Nintendo uses some sort of MIDI interface thus the instruments lose their quality.

Not excatly sure how the MIDI on that machine works though.

I wish Nintendo had relased the N64DD anyways and this game wouldn've been expanded and be MUCH better.

N64 was not that bad.The DS was even worse in sound just compare N64 Diddy Kong Racing to the DS version for proof.
