Christian on Atheist Discrimination

I've been practicing using premiere pro some more, so I thought I'd make another politically charged video. One thing that I'm not sure I made quite clear in the video is that I consider pushing your religious beliefs onto your children to be a form of child abuse.

I really don't see how that's possible. Christianity teaches that everyone outside their faith is 'enemies of Jesus'...and evil to be converted or destroyed - Atheists realize Christians are simply delusional.

Tell you what - when an Atheist bombs a pro-life gathering, I might take your claim seriously.

@MisticMcil Dawkins never say "kill god" that would be absurd because he doesn't think he exists. He is the most calm speaker on behalf of other atheists. You just take it personal because it goe against your delusion. There is plenty of evidence for the promotion of slavery in the bible. If you would read it, you would know.

@MrKGatl Where did I say Atheist as a whole? I'm talking about a certain group of Atheist. Just look at Dawkins, he's one of them. Seems like every time I hear that man speak it's destroy religion this, kill god that. He's a huge source of hate and I wouldn't be surprised if his rhetoric militarized a group of not-all-there religion haters.

As for evidence, mind giving some on how the bible supports slavery and is anti-woman? Full quotes, please. None of one-liner stuff.

@MisticMcil We atheists arent filled with hate, its intollerance to ignorance. We are frustrated, could you imagine if 4 out of every 5 adults believed in Santa, thats how we feel. Atheists, are the most discriminated group in America now. When you name hate groups in America, almost everyone of them is religiously based. No where do you see militant atheists or anything close. When you say that generalizations are stupid you are generalizing. Christians are ignorant!

@MisticMcil You dont need to twist the bible to be evil or to see the obvious lack of morality. Non belief or atheism, doesnt do this sort of thing. I am very much anti religion. But I am also anti slavery, which is endorsed in the bible, and I am pro women, which the bible is not. Please give us some examples of these atheists groups that you are talking about. Sorry to ask for evidence, I know evidence is probably against your religion.

@MisticMcil Heck, just check out some of the comments here. Is it really that hard to believe? These type of Atheist wrap their hate in self-righteousness and proclaim it to be a good thing because "Christians are ignorant." (Side note: Generalizations are stupid. Not everyone is the same.) If you are truely as open-minded as you clam (you as in the person reading, not you as in MrKGat), you will not treat others with disrespect and hate as if they are beneath you.

@MrKGatl Why would I be mad about Jesus Camp? Those people are crazy. They are twisting the word of God to create a stable revenue stream out of people who just want something to blindly follow. And don't think that religion is the only thing people do that with, it's happens in Atheism too. Until you get out of your comfort zone and stop seeing things so polarized, you'll never see this kind of thing happen. @MisticMcil What a bunch of shit. Atheists are not telling their kids that. You probably just watch the video about Jesus Camp and are mad, so you want to think that Atheists are doing it to. Atheist parents dont have time to talk badly about religions, they are too busy educating and making their children good members of society. Atheist extremists might number in the thousands, how many religious extremists do you think there are in the US. Millions!

@Destino68 I think it's the vocal minority, like with most everything else, but it is scary to think that it could on day be the majority. Everyone, regardless of affiliations, needs to keep theirselves in check and try not to propagate hate and call out those who do within their communities. Just looking at the comments here makes me lose faith in humanity's ability to love and respect each other.

@MisticMcil Yeah, that's pretty nasty. I would like to think that that kind of attitude is relatively scarce amidst the atheist community, but there are always going to be irrational nuts no matter where you stand on belief..
