  • are they legal cause i want to do that but im not sure like ya amber lights not police

  • @redbaron447 check your local laws where i live yes they are when this vid was made i was working as a mechanic on equipment on the side of the road and didnt want to spend a couple of hundred bucks on lights but wanted something better than just my hazard lights

  • how did you get it so bright?

  • @ilovemoney888 didn't do anything to it they are just regular marker lights that you can get at any truck stop or automotive store i think they have LED ones now but i dont think it will draw enough power to make the relay work properly

  • @simpleman601 wait you used 18 wheelers trailer lights?, i have 4 small boat trailers lights in my grille, hooked up to a strobe kit that i got from auto zone and its running on 2 9V batteries

  • @ilovemoney888 yup they are the lights that go on top and side of trailers

  • No this would not be good. I have seen someone use this type of home made crap on a pov. Yes you can see it as shown in the video however... 150yards out it looks like a little blinky light, 700 yards its does shit all. Line that up to block traffic due to a MTA and you get a semi truck that just takes note of it about 200yrds out... The after math is now we have a semi double MTA... Ive seen it happen and its stupid... It puts more men in danger with a car like that to be a warning for a MTA

  • OmniPresent What would it matter if it was for a POV Responder?

  • what relay did you use?

  • How did you make them work

  • god this is great i think im going to make me one

  • I had to chuckle at this video and the comments. The word "Rednecks" flashed across my mind. ha ha ha

  • @simpleman601 Current draw on that side of the relay doesn't matter at all, it's the coil side that matters.

  • i got a pair of fog lights that has 4 bulbs 2 in a unit, they lamp white & yellow we tie in our headlight flasher to yellow lamp....

  • I WANT TO LET YOU NOW..you can make your own stuff . I did .. LOOK UP ........... SHO-ME LED FLASHER and use up to 4 led lights 4 inch round or oval.you need a LED stober box about 28 dollars then you can use leds..looks awesome and draws VERY LITTLE POWER.I will put up an example when I get a chance.
