  • Amidst all this "witty" commentary from viewers, has anyone noticed the particular types of books Miss Shamrakov is actually reading? Feynman was one of the most interesting people from the 20th century. The books she named are not Cosmopolitan or Maxim; they definitely take more than hormones to ingest.

  • @spongefreddie

    THANK YOU!

  • It is an interesting debate and not any way I am saying I know more than Michio Kaku.

I like Stephen Hawking's and Carl Sagan's views, and the way they are more sensitive to the world and humanity and that they both more poetic and compassionate.

Or Maybe I am just a lil annoyed at MK, I have met him on the subway in NYC, and I told him I was a big fan, I gave him my CD, and he did not want to talk to me at all. He looked me like I was an ant:)

  • music..well we are back to the same point, why do you think they would like our music? they can be sensitive to lower waves of sound or higher ones, they could even feel our music, our own way of speaking like we feel nails scratching a blackboard, try to think more outside the box, wich is our human perspective.

  • @Dekasheran I think music has a universal language in it! And yes it could be that high frequencies scratch ears, but I believe that we can communicate through art and music.

  • Wow, maybe you are all right and I am thinking like human!

But what about amazing music we have?

very interesting comments form everyone thank you!

  • come on if we ever pass what we are now and travel to the star. do you really want to make contact with people like us at this time we are dangerous. you people are idiots.

  • @MargaritaShamrakov actually you would have to think about the consequences that would come with meeting a more advance intelligent civilization take the native americans and the american settlers. the brought diseases to the native american people just by being around from a different continent on the same planet so just imagine what an alien from a different planet or galaxy might bring. thats just one example

  • lol

  • It takes only one extra dimension to have an infinite amount of 3 space + 1 time dimension kind of entities. Like in a cube you could have an infinite amount of 2-dimensional squares. If there are 11 dimensions that haven't 'collapsed' in on themselves as some physicists claim, it means that what we see in the universe is just one page in a very thick book.

  • Given that the universe is homogeneous and isotropic, it follows that what can happen here can happen elsewhere in the universe. My suspicion is, is that intelligent life is so incredibly rare, in both space and time that the staggering distances between them create a natural quarantine, ensuring that they never meet before they become extinct. But this might not apply to artificially intelligent civilizations - which might last longer than biologically based civilizations.

  • I disagree with u and with Dr. Kaku, but no completely. Maybe they are already observing us, but they haven't see the right time to contact us. Other can be that they already contacted us but only high positioned commanders know about it, who knows... Also either ur perspective or Dr. Kaku perspective can be right, we don't know yet, maybe we are not prepare for this kind of change yet and they are waiting for that, or maybe the day will come and they will contact us... Maybe who knonws...

  • We are just one group of ants on this ant hill we call earth. There could be many more ants out there just like us on their ant hills that were already picked on and studied or observed by these advanced alien civilizations. We were just not the lucky ones or unlucky ones who knows.

  • "Shut up kid"

  • You said it yourself: You "observe" ants and don't contact them.
