Florida State Lineman Discipline

The Florida State Offensive Line is taught not to move when a defender is caught jumping offside. It takes a lot of self control to stay in your stance after the ball has been snapped but it is a very good way to keep your O line disciplined. Its really the principle more than the practice.

This is stupid though. I understand they're trying to avoid getting called for false start, but once the QB is moving there's no benefit to the OL standing still.  You're just forfeiting the opportunity to go deep down the field for a free play AND endangering your QB who the defense now has a free shot at.
