Went to Wyoming over Easter Weekend and Dad wanted my wife to shoot his Remington 742 "Woodsmaster" semi-automatic 30-06, Marlin XS7 in .243, and Mossberg 500 20-gauge Shotgun to get her thoughts. The Remington Model 742 is a great "starter" rifle since it's semi-automatic and that means A LOT LESS recoil - as she found and enjoyed. She liked the .243 as well, but being a bolt action felt it had a bit more recoil than the 742... She's now shot our Remington M887 12-gauge (see my other vids...) but wanted to try a 20-gauge as well and enjoyed it... Now we can start working on accuracy overall! A beautiful morning at a great range - may update the details for that in the future... You can hear the wind picking up as we get later into the morning though - it's still Wyoming after all!
