Transformers in South Park. This is a animation test tat I did in Pro tools, Photoshop, and After effects. My Goal: Try to get as close as possible to the South Park Style. Considering the MASSIVE amount of positive feedback on this video I think I might make a second part to this.

Dude, I've been trying to make a cartoon in south park style for the longest. This is AMAZING! It looks JUST like it! I know how to make the characters and evrything, but can you please tell me how to use After Effects to move their heads and all that?

@tink729 Well It's all about using parenting. I would move the anchor points for each body part, head, upper arm, lower arm, hand, etc. and then basically attach it to the adjoining part.... Man this would be easier to explain if I could just draw it....

Look up some parenting tutorials for more info on that. Should help. Once you've got that all set up you basically just hit the keyframes for rotation (NOT position) and then start animating to your hearts content.

@MGTV98 Thanks. hopefully my work will be even better in the future. I'm going back to school for animation this year so I think it's pretty much a guarantee. I'd like to make more like this, it was a lot of fun.
