His followers, were told they WOULD BE PERSECUTED FOR FOLLOWING HIM!!! Your former religion is very good at that by the way! yes, if your a real christian, you follow God, and not the church, you see the church as a place to contact God. you believe in God, and you really do, and you dont blindly follow the church. in the islam, many people just blindly follow the quran.. you cant tell them if something is wrong, no matter its obviously that you are right. they will not listen. because they are ignorant. not open, unlike christianity. they have been teached 1 thing only since the birth. the words of the quran..

Come on, dont be simplistic. In the same Bible is written ¨Love your enemies etc¨ The sentence you quote means that each one of us has a fight against the evil within or outside himself . Answers cant be that simple. Dont forget that Bible is all seasons best seller. And, I woudnt try to judge Christianity from the people who call themselves Christians but from the real Christians and they, hide themselves usually, you have to search to find them.
