Mugen #81: Symbiotic Hell

Hey guess what happens tomorrow folks. It has to do with numbers.

XCB's Venom plays like he's incomplete. I have no idea where that hyper BG is coming from randomly. His AI seems to be kinda weak for XCB's work. He also seems a bit overpowered. Otherwise, not too bad. He's closer to MvC1 than the alternative, Sludge's, that's for sure. An alright opponent, but I expected more from him.

Wolvenom is probably the most fun thing IMT has ever put out. Seriously, it's a blast using him. I was a bit of a Wolverine user in MvC (on occasion) and I liked Sander's and Vyn's Wolverines, so I felt right at home here. He's very easy to combo with, and actually decently programmed. My only gripes are his roar (which is LOUD) and he feels a bit much like Wolverine with different supers and a web throw. He's good as-is now, but some more Symbiote-like moves would be even better.

Hey, issue with the Hyper BG randomly appearing has been fix. Yes, XCB's Venom's Stand HP was sending Wovenom into custom state similar to one of Wolvenom's Hyper states, thus causing the Hyper BG to appear. Orochi Gill has the fixed file, so you can get it from him or me if you want it.

thats weird..i never had a problem with Venom's Hyper BG popping up so much. I think its the stage IMO. Otherwise, both characters are fun to play with.

I PMed Sabaki over at IMT. It's an issue where Venom's standing HP sends Wolvenom into the same state that triggers his hyper BG.

That background might be an interaction issue with both. The background that randomly pops out is not Venom's hyper background.

And yeah, Cray appears to be the only halfway decent programmer in the IMT crew.

I never seen my Venom making the hyper BG appear randomly.

Coincidentally, people consider Venom to be Eli's best overall creation, along with Genkai.
