They call it Oliver Tambo International Airport now, but since time immemorial it has been the main port of entry into South Africa for long haul flights. The country's biggest airport has, it seems, been a construction site for absolute ages. As 2010 approaches, however, every visitor can see the benefits as new and improved sections open for business. We chat with Chris Hlekane, ACSA general manager, to find out more about how Oliver Tambo International Airport is growing and readying itself for the massive influx of visitors come the Word Cup.

i preferred it being called Johannesburg International as that was a name which actually made sense. I think all airports should have some geographical connection - naming it after ppl just confuses everyone.
