How is this the most viewed? I hope people didn't follow this one. Search "how to pierce your ears at home" and pick the second video with the girl. She is the best!

Good video but a few revisions:
1). Definately soak the needle in rubbing alcohol for a bit.
2). Hold the needle close to but not on the flame to avoid it getting weakened and possibly causing it to break during the piercing.
3). Slide in your ring/stud/gauge in IMMEDIATELY after you've made the hole in your ear. This is easiest by simply holding the ring/stud/gauge behind your needle then following it through the hole. You cannot change or take out the piercing for a month, and turn it daily.

@rolly593 Dude/Chick/Transfriendy, I'm 12 and my mom said no, and I did it. Just be careful. What I did BEFORE watching this video, I took rubbing alcohol and soaked my needle and THEN I lit on fire with my mom's lighter. Please be careful.

I was shaking when I pierced my ear (second hole) yesterday. I only wanted only one second hole though. At first, I had to wear a needle in my ear and put my old braces wax on the end of it to prevent it from stabbing me in the back of my ear. Now, I'm just wearing my older earring since I lost the other earring. Overall, I was in my bathroom for about ten minutes putting a needle through my ear. Kinda fun.
