I hope you burn in hell BanjoFagboy, you give this 1 star because you say it's related to RuneScape??? Give me a fucking break... That is the worst excuse for giving this 1-star. Besides Sonic and RuneScape are COMPLETELY different games.

The corrrect reason of the glitch:
There are invisible objects in the level, that make the water go up or down, if Sonic comes near them or if he stands in a special spot. If the debug code is entered and you swap sonic with a TV, a ring or what ever, these invisible objects (they are called "generators") don't make the water go up or down. ----> Read the next comment! ...

turn into debug mode and up to the limit, where you stop is the limit of level (or bottom part [cliff]) and die.
