Should BJ Penn Retire? - After losing to Nick Diaz

Should BJ Penn retire after losing to Nick Diaz at UFC 137 in a unanimous decision loss. Baby Jay did very good in the first round and in my opinion won the round 10-9 but in the second round Nick Diaz' cardio kicked in and oh man did it ever. Nick battered BJ with Punches closing his right eye and beating the prodigy at his own game. In the third nick continued his barrage of punishment and bj did fight back. @thehork1984 Carlos has finished all but 2 opponents in his 27 or 28 wins. You're a typical fan who judge a fighter on one fight. There was no cheating in Condits gameplan. And really bad comparision with the Anderson/Maia fight. Condit and Nick were both focused and landing shots.....Damn, nothing in your comments is right.

Im sorry but did you say that he matched diaz for awhile and didn't take too much of a beatin cos we must ave seen a different fight friend. It's not Diaz's style to knock you out he peppers you. Diaz Pucked the head off of Bj. Yes Bj is a great fighter but I feel he was demoralized by Diaz's striking and could you blame him cos no one can match Diaz's stand up toe to toe.. Im sure he only stayed in that fight out of pride, plain and simple. Codit did the smart thing he didn't play his game

@laloese253 He puts on exciting fights, but you're acting like a veteran who's been in the sport for over a decade will suddenly change his approach on fighting. He's said every fight that he's in the best shape of his life and always gasses. Some people have cardio and some people don't. Unfortunately as talented as he is, it would be very hard for him to ever get another title. I'm not saying he should retire he should just fight where he's most comfortable at.
