@TheFallenBeard It totally makes sense, and I really do respect your opinion, since, for some reason, atheists are looked down upon. Your choice, right? No one else should have a say in what you believe, personally.
@GrayWulf316 The versus leading up to the parable is about a tax collector giving out his money. I see no mention of Heaven there. I don't want to be swindled. You obviously do. I'll never understand why, though. I do encourage you to look at my critical bible reading playlists, though. Perhaps if I'm this misguided, you'll see more mistakes I've made there.
@TheFallenBeard thats a parable death is hell read the verses prior to the parable jesus says heaven is like unto- parable . again you're trying to twist the bible into something it is not truth is you can twist I can unwind forever I am not trying to convert you you have to be willing to seek god and you are not i will continue to pray for you but it is you that has to want a relationship with god in order to find the truth you seek
@GrayWulf316 It also says no one wanted him to be king. If that was the case, I don't think the items in the parable could be considered blessings. Look at the words of the one who did nothing with his 'blessings'. He says that he won't work for the king because everything he earns, the king takes credit for. This is where the king gets angry and says 'bring those who don't want me to reign, and kill them in front of me'. That's not Hell, that's death.
@TheFallenBeard in this parable the money is not wealth . god gives every man blessings and gifts . those who used their blessings or in this case talents to be fruitful spread the word of god and to worship him were given more talents . the 1 who did not use his gifts for the glory of god but instead did nothing was caste out into hell because he knew god gave him the talents and he still did not worship or tell others about god
@GrayWulf316 The parable tells me to make sure you get wealthy, and give to the king. Otherwise, your wealth will be given to the wealthiest, and you will be punished.
@GrayWulf316 You may want to read Luke 19 over again. It speaks of the king giving out money to 3 people. The first was able to multiply his money by 10, and the king rewarded him with 10 cities. The second by 5, and was awarded 5 cities. The third brought back the same amount he was given, and was ordered to give his share to the first guy. So again, what is the message Jesus was trying to relay? Sounds like you need to get rich and reward the king, eh? Or die by his hand.
@TheFallenBeard ive alread went over it once with you! the king left and set men to watch over his kingdom this king is god .he sent servants to check up onthe caretakers this was the prophets . they were beaten and killed.so the kingsends his son and they murder him .this is jesus.so when the king returns the wicked caretakers will be killed and there will be pain forever this is gods judgement the wicked go to hell .you know the place you are afraid of but dont believe in!
