LiveAndroid is a Live CD for Android running on X86 platforms. You can use it to run Android directly on your PC.

To Install Android on your PC,
Just download LiveAndroid

Live Android -- Part 1 (http://code.google.com/p/live-android/downloads/detail?name=liveandroidv0.3.iso.001&can=2&q=)
Live Android -- Part 2 (http://code.google.com/p/live-android/downloads/detail?name=liveandroidv0.3.iso.002&can=2&q=)

Live Android - Torrent (http://code.google.com/p/live-android/downloads/detail?name=liveandroidv0.3%20%5Bmininova%5D.torrent&can=2&q=)

After downloading these files, just join them using HJSplit.

Next, burn the ISO (disk image) to a CD using any CD burning application like Nero, Magic ISO, Power ISO etc.

You can also use W32DiskImager to copy the image to a USB drive.

After this step, just reboot your computer and boot from the CD or USB drive. You should be greeted by the LiveAndroid startup screen.

Alternatively, you can also load the ISO in any virtualization application like Microsoft Virtual PC or Virtual Box.

  • @bcbk93 Just download the latest one, and if you have a netbook or notebook (12.1 or less) just grab the eeepc version. If you have an asus pc or laptop get that one (that has intel cpu) but if you have an AMD laptop, regarldless of manufacturer, just grab the amd-brazos version. If you own a tegra 2 version device, get the tega2 version...

  • Thanks mate! I didn't used your video at all, because I did all this VM stuff using the android x86 official page documentation, but I downloaded the w32diskimager, which I seen and used before, but for some reason I didn't had it in my pc, I downloaded again and wrote the image in the usb and pretty much worked with an eeepc I have :) Now I am planning on putting it in my other notebook (msi L2100) and also install it in another VM using android x86 v4.0 and see if the networking works.

  • @2mitchmitch Or use ADB with an IP and connect remotely your PC (host) and your VM(guest), but you need to make sure you have a networking working inside the VM, otherwise it wont work. Yeah that method of uploading on a file host provider and downloading also works well, there's also the fake SD card, I think you do it like when you make the initial installation but if you didn't you can do it later. Just google it or look in the android x86 official site.

  • how do we download apps there is no android market plz tell and thx a lot i wish i had ur brain

  • I am not able to use my keyboard. How can you do that?

  • @TheGup Yes you can. Make a app, compile it into a APK, upload it to somewhere like Mediafire, boot LiveAndroid or AndroidX86 and go into the Android Browser, open the link wait for it to download, it will install and you are done!

ALT: Make a fake memory card (I dont know how)

  • hitler is gonna kill you
