  • I'm a native Arabic speaker and I think that they're kinda making it hard 4 u guys

    EX.

    4 = arbaáton RS

    4 = arbaá as I say it

  • @FmobileYT thank you for the insight; it is definitely easier to learn a language from a native speaker themselves

  • @FmobileYT Att a beginner's level, it is better to learn the Proper way to say the words. When they advance, they will learn how to drop certain endings, but for starts, they should learn Proper Arabic and then learn what to "throw away", if I may say, although if you keep the last sounds, as example, saying "arbaaton", this is 100% proper. The point is, when speaking, you can lower the level of "proper-ness", and no one will condemn you. Its like saying "readin" instead of "reading".

  • @BlaqueStormRising Very well put; I agree in terms of learning a new language. If one doesn't comprehend the different forms of saying things, how could they possibly make themselves clear (or understand) in a setting where the spoken language is familiar.

  • I've been wanting to learn arabic for a while and might buy the program--this looks hard! Did the Rosetta Stone program help you or was it still confusing?

  • @fireflykerry I think it helped me. The only thing I would do is teach the whole alphabet before going onto words and sentence structure. I feel if it states it can give you fluency in a language, but it assumes for you to know and understand the foundation.
