They take pictures like that here in Maine also. They want to know who everyone is and when they start doing their round ups, they can find you and distribute your picture to all officers. This should be un-comstitutional and why it is not is beyond me.

He was the victim. He has a right to open carry, and in NH, that right is recognized in the law. Nevertheless, he was harassed for this legal activity, and forced to give up personal information. Why don't you stop excusing abusive, nosy behavior? "Papers Please!!" Didn't we used to make fun of the Russians for that?

They should think that he's got a right to carry a gun, and he's exercising that right. Assuming he doesn't pull it out and start threatening people, I don't see why you should care.
