Jon Hulburd released his first television ad in his bid for Arizona's Third Congressional District. The ad begins airing on broadcast and cable stations throughout Phoenix today.
The ad calls into question Ben's changing story on his association with TheDirty.com, and questions his judgment in using a misleading campaign mailer that implied he had children. The ad draws its name, "Compass," from a Quayle quote while writing a column for TheDirty.com's forerunner: "My moral compass is so broken I can barely find the parking lot."
"The voters I talk with are concerned about Ben's experience and judgment," Hulburd said. "Republicans raised these claims against Ben Quayle in the primary and he continues to give the same evasive non-answers."
The ad also touts Hulburd's long history in the district as a husband, father, successful attorney and small businessman. Hulburd is an active community volunteer and this is his first run for elected office.
