September 11, 2001-2011 - Slideshow Tribute with Original Music

On the mornings of 9/11/2001 and 9/12/2001, I turned on my AM radio. I grabbed a microphone and placed it up to the radio speaker. I recorded several news broadcasts as I turned the tuning dial back and forth. Being a musician, I knew I wanted to create a tribute piece.

That weekend, I overlayed the audio of these radio broadcasts and wrote a piece on acoustic guitar to go with it. I then produced a slideshow video similar to this one. The original video was lost.

One the 10th anniversary of 9/11, I decided to remake the video, in HD, using high-res pictures with the original audio track. What you are hearing are genuine AM radio broadcasts from 9/11 and 9/12 in 2001, and the music I originally wrote.
