I've got 14Gb ram, 500Gb spare hard drive and all my settings are already the same as he recommended (factory settings!)
Still got exactly the same latency. This man is talking rubbish.

I'm having an issue recording vocals in GB. I connected my mic to a preamp> usb audio interface>imac and for some reason I can only hear the vocals out of the left side monitor or headphone. I'm new to the game so I'm sure I'm making a mistake just not sure what that is. Advice?

Your problem could well be a delay from the wireless keyboard. I'd recommend trying a wired one if you have one and see if that helps at all.

with all due respect, this is nonsense and jsut wast of time... it is a fact that latency problem comes once in a while, but all you have to do is hit spacebar once for couple of seconds( specially if you have any pre-recordings) and then stop. your Mac will pick up and regulate automatically... you dont have to do anything else at all. cheers
