The UK placed a reservation on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. This means that children who are subject to immigration law are not treated as children first. This has lots of effects on young people in the UK: they can be detained in prison like detention centres, they can't get a driving license, they can't open a bank account, they have to miss school to sign on. A group of young people thinks that this is not right and made this video about it with the help of Save the Children in Glasgow.
