F-117 The Original Stealth Fighter

They call it a fighter even though it only carries air-to-ground ordanance. But its the first of its kind and a history-maker in its own right. From Holloman AFB, NM comes the F-117A Nighthawk finally doing more than a level pass.

Too bad some people can't just watch a simple video without trying to puff their chests up at this aircraft. So "Serbia" shot one down. By the time they shot one down the aircraft was already SIXTEEN YEARS OLD!! My God people, I would hope *somebody* would be able to have figured something out by then!

But why not just watch a simple video instead of telling the world how great you think you are? You know your comments will only lead to fighting so why do this? Just enjoy the video folks :)

Wer nichts weiss, sollte auch nichts schreiben. Die F117 die abgeschossen war, wurde auf dem Nachhauseweg abgeschossen. Und hatte gar keine Unterstützung. Stealth hilft auf Distanz aber sicherlich nicht, wenn eine Komplett intakte Abwehr wartet der man auch noch sehr nahe kommen muss... Anders als im Golf Krieg hatte die F117 keine Unterstützung...welch ein flieger wäre weiter gekommen?

F-117 is not so stealth as you think.

In 1999. two of them was shooted down, and one was demaged. After that they was pulled from action.

Serbs used NEVA S-125M SAM sistem.

NEVA S-125 is russian sistem which was improved by serbian army to standard-M.

No, you have watched too many sci-fi movies. These signals dont exist, and even if they did would be cluttered and overshadowed by the Earth's magnetic field. And even if it could detect these aircraft, it couldnt be effective as a guidance platform in a missile. So your not really presenting a good arguement. Go to some Russian plamsa stealth or Pak-fa video and discuss with other people about things that dont work and havent flown and all of these other SECRET projects the Russians have.
