Korean bred racing horse's US debut.

The KRA has been talking about doing that for a long time as part of their "internationalization" plan for Korean horse racing, placing horses in races across the world to check the level of domestic horses.
KRA sent Pick Me Up which is one of the best horse in Busan to US.
Because he can't find a suitable allowance race on dirt and this is the first time that he ran on turf, he was unplaced in a field of eight.

What's the most difficult in abroad is to take care of horses, and there seemed to be no trouble in this horse and race. So I think it's great.

Korean racing fans should make allowance for the results. The difference of tracks affects the ability of horses, and there is difference between American and Korean dirt tracks. The former is made from true dirt, but the latter is made of sand.

Not the results but the experiences in US will help Korean racing to mark a big step.

It was truly awful result to Korean racing fans. If Pick Me Up couldn't show his ability on dirt either, I will be frustrated at all.
