On vacation, Captain Olimar of Hocotate is cruising the universe in his spaceship, the Dolphin, when he collides with a meteor above a large planet and is sent spiraling groundward. When he awakes, Olimar finds his ship shattered, with many parts missing. Worse yet, he only has thirty days' of oxygen left in his suit. He is not without hope, however, as he befriends a native species which he names Pikmin. With their help, he sets out to locate his ship's missing parts and return home.


For the eighth day, Olimar returns to the Impact Site.

you do know that the mamta or what ever it is doesn't hurt your pikmin, it just burries them in the ground so you have to pluck them out.
