  • Beautiful Girl, Beautiful Voice. What a smashing combo!!

  • I don't feel so well, I'll just have a little sit down in the middle of the song.

  • this is why i dont like musicals. gimme ella or sarah every time.

  • The second verse is sung at a different time. This song is from The Boys From Syracuse. I sang it when my highschool did it.

  • super random that I came across this, but I went to elementary school with this young lady and she was BOMB then!

  • I think that she sits on the stool during the second verse to show that the second verse is actually sung at a different time than the first one in the play (if memory serves; It's been years since I saw Boys From Syracuse). It also shows that the girl is in a different mindset at the end (not sure if she's in love at first, and sure later on).

  • Actually, it was originally written to be sung this way. The correct term in the industry is "legit" or "head mix".

  • a little to opera-ish. sounds better as a jazz bit. great voice, though.

  • Really wonderful. Beautiful girl; beautiful voice. Good luck!

  • ....American Idol!
