@sweetdietqueen I agree. A lot of the reasons why women stay in such marriages stems from low self-esteem/image and the fear of being alone/single. I know some women who were in similar situations and did not leave their marriage because of economics because they felt they did not obtain a higher education or have special skills training to make it on their own. It is sad really.

@TheDharmawheel I think they can be if used properly. If someone is already religious, then religion can be a useful tool in therapy for those individuals. Personally I'm atheist, so that wouldn't really relate to me, but I can see where it could help an individual.

Aw, don't let that stop you. Earlier in the program, I think in the first day segments, the husband brought God into the conversation. SO I'm sure DP was just harkening to that.

to me he ruined it by the "god centred" crap. I've been married 11 years and we have a healthy amazing marriage and we are atheists. You don't need religion to be a good, loving, committed person.
