honestly, CPP has one of the cheapest parking among university in california. $90 per quarter compare to $600+ per quarter in UCs. $220 per semester in CSUF, I heard $1000 in USC per quarter. (still, I never say it's not overpriced)
Regardless of the parking fee, parking sucks in CPP, It is hard to find a parking spot in the afternoon. We do need trains.
LA county should build a train station between mtsac and CPP for better service and higher return.
no they wouldnt have to reroute the line, the school owns land on pomona blvd(south of temple next to the state mental hospital; its currently farm land) up to the riverside metrolink line(which zooms by on school grounds). the school send me an email saying that they do not want to spend the 1 million that is needed to build the station plus the maintenance fees. they also came with the excuse that it would take too long to build
If Cal Poly were a truly environmentally responsible campus, it would attract more and better qualified students while improve its reputation in the process. If SDSU did it, so should Cal Poly.
Building a train station isn't the only problem, since train tracks would need to be rerouted as well. 200 yards, however is close enough that students could be bused the remainder of the distance. Have to agree about the lighting of that thing though.

oh the parking fees are used to pay for the parking structure. i would prefer more parking structures hate parking in up in the hills.
