Just to be clear, I'm not gay bashing. I would have felt the same way if a straight person had been yelling about cunnilingus with such vivid imagery.

So the response to this has been more than a little interesting. By and large it seems like people enjoyed the video, and for that I am happy. It's also nice to see people who identify themselves as gay understanding the nature of this video, and not jumping to conclusions like some commenters as well as a few of the people responding by video.

I thought I should clarify a few assumptions people seem to have.

The first and most talked about one seems to be something to the effect of "this is homophobic, it's attacking the whole gay community." To respond to this, I will use the Taco Bell Dog defense.

When the Taco Bell Dog came onto the scene it was a huge success. It was whimsical, to the point, and stood out [and stuck] in people's minds. HOWEVER, a group of Latin Americans took the dog as an ethnic stereotype and demanded it be taken down as it was deemed by them "offensive". The Taco Bell Dog wasn't representing an ethnic group. It was representing the company. But these people ASSUMED it was the case, and so raised a big nasty stink about it.

So it seems a similar, if smaller, situation is arising here. A lot of you guys seem to think that I view this man as a representative of the gay community, or that I am directing my thoughts at the community itself.

Oh come ON.

For fuck's sake people I'm talking to one random dude who pissed me off. I will not be held responsible for you identifying with his behavior and taking offense. I will also not be apologizing for your inability to get over yourself for five minutes and laugh at something that is [contrary to your assumptions] no more than the rantings of a pissed off waiter.

Still others think that I should have told the man to quiet down, or asked him to leave. Perhaps this is my fault for saying "my restaurant." Perhaps a more accurate description would be "the restaurant I work at."

I have no power, people. In fact, the role of a server necessitates taking crap from people on a daily basis in order to possibly get a few dollars more than you would otherwise. People's opinion of you more often than not greatly affects YOUR TIP.

I've seen many times when someone is asked to quiet down some people tend to get more pronounced in their actions, usually in defiance of perceived "censorship". You see this almost every day here on youtube when a user gets butt-hurt that his comment was removed. To deal with that in person, AND to have that person decide how much money you will get is not something I'm prepared to do. I'm a fat guy, kids. I need to eat. I should probably eat less, but I think you get my drift.

That being said, please get over yourselves and have a laugh. This guy will probably never see this video, and you will never see this guy. Relax and crack a smile, or don't and just leave.

I am so sick of aggressive gay men. In the beginning i thought they were fun to hang around with but they are so rude, very sarcastic, arrogant and did I mention rude?I don't understand why either. I am beginning to think gay men secretly hate women and heterosexual couples. Why else do they act like they are mad at the world. I guess when gay marriage becomes more accepted then they'll start to get have some manners.

@global001 Perhaps he got so much flak for posting this one that he decided not to do another video in the same vein, against either homosexuals or heterosexuals. Perhaps he just got bored with the whole thing (posting videos wherein he complains about people of a certain sexual orientation being rude) and decided to stop after this one. Who knows? I do know that he either lost his job as a waiter or he quit his job as a waiter sometime after he posted this. So perhaps that's why.

@global001 I get what you're "trying" to say. It's just that you can't absolutely prove what you're trying to say. Saying that the guy is a homophobe simply because he posted a video in which he complains about the quite rude actions of one single solitary homosexual man and also citing the lack of videos posted by him complaining about the rude actions of one single solitary heterosexual man...it doesn't prove anything, really.

@rickyfan3956 My point this guy is no prude, he even has on a recent video pics of half naked girls on the wall. Doesn't matter if it a restaurant, bar, public street or public transport most guys who work in hospitality late at night will have heard inappropriate comments from straight guys. This guy doesn't care about that because he's straight. He only objects to gay stuff. I'm done making my point, if you don't get it so be it.

@global001 And, yes, I DO believe that it's possible that he'd never come across a customer like that before, gay or straight. I've worked in the restaurant industry for over six years now; believe it or not, it's not that common for anyone to come into a restaurant and discuss their sexual lives. Most people have at least enough basic good breeding and enough class to know better than that.

@global001 The difference between the behavior he is describing here and his posting a gross video is that, at least with the video, you'd have a choice of whether or not you wanted to view it. The behavior he was describing in the restaurant was forced on the innocent bystanders, whether they wanted to hear all that or not.

@global001 In a restaurant setting, where some dude comes in and announces a thing like that to the whole world, what are you, the innocent bystander, gonna be able to do about it? It's not like you'd be able to predict beforehand what he was going to say and then, just before he says it, tear your napkin up and stuff bits of it in your ears so you wouldn't hear what he said.

@global001 I didn't know he had done that. You're right, that's gross and inappropriate to post. There is one big difference, though, between what he did in posting a video of him lighting his farts and what he's talking about in this video: If he posts a video of ANYTHING, let alone him lighting his farts, no one is being forced to watch it. Yes, it's gross and inappropriate to post, but no one is FORCING you to watch. In a restaurant setting, it would be different.

@rickyfan3956 This guy posted a video of himself a few years ago with his legs spread lighting his farts. He is in no position to be moralistic & preach about appropriate public behaviour. As I said before if he was so opposed to people talking inappropriately about sex in public he'd vlog about the straight versions too & no I don't believe he hasn't seen those. You choose to think good of him & thats your choice but I don't because of what I've seen him post over the years.

@global001 As I said, perhaps he, personally, had never had someone heterosexual sit in his section and loudly announce his sexual preferences to the world. Yes, I'm sure there are heterosexual guys who are classless enough to do so, but perhaps he had never had it happen to him, personally.

@rickyfan3956 You don't have to go far to find poorly & inappropriately behaved straight men voicing their sexual desires out in any major town/city every weekend in pubs & restaurants. If that type of behaviour upsets him so much there are plenty of straight examples for him to vlog about. No assumptions here mate. Open your eyes.
