People have been playing with this technology for a long time and there are some reasons why it is likely to not be adopted. It wastes power, E&M fields scare people, E&M fields interfere with other transmission devices and the transmitter needs to be big, All electronics to be changed/ran need to have the receiver coils, this creates huge problems with standardization across the EOMs. There are about a dozen other issues.

Yes, but Tesla rarely sketched his ideas, and when he died he died with most of his secrets, the rest were confiscated.

Kinda of messed up. I just woke up out of a sleep and I thought of what if we can make a magnetic field and we can have our laptops or tvs or xbox/ gaming systems wireless. So I started drawing some prototypes together and then I said I want to make sure that no one else as done this. Now the last time I looked for wireless charging I came across inductive charging. But this was going to be different. So I looked in google and now I find this out. But I suppose I can still try for a patent.

Can? Sorry, it will! Have you imagine cars using this tecnology? Only electricity can be transferend, making gas pumps and therefore fossil fuel obsolete...
