Try to go to the BIOS and choose restore defaults. If it doen not work then disable BIOS memory. If it still does not work then the CMOS is corrupted. to fix that you will need to restore the CMOS. Finaly if it has none of those features then the BIOS either has a virus or the file that runs the BIOS (on windows) has been deleted. Goto the BIOS folder on your PC (try to boot windows up) and then search the BIOS problems. Check your BIOS make and create a restore point (if possible)!!

that haven't been the password removal method since Pentium III. You have to read it see the AllService link above, that or replace with a known good bios from Thinkpad T23. >Chip 24RC04 -

Did you check your CMOS battery? this can be the problem, as in a camera, that mini lithium battery holds the time, the laptops and desktops can also hold the time, look on a website to find where you can locate your laptop cmos battery and insert a new one and it should be fixed.

try hookin another keyboard to it externaly and see if u can set it who knows maybe ur keyboard is mested up

Try to reset the Cmos, by opening you computer, and removing the battery for one minute, you will have a checksum error. Turn on you computer and don't press anything wait for two minutes then turn off the computer, after you have done this, enter the bios and set the date and time. If it doesn't work it could be your logic broad connections to your keypad.

buy a new bios battery, it will cost 5 dollars. Then make a bios update, you need a charged battery for that.Or check the password in the bios. Or Check the keyboard, take a external keyboard with ps/2 or usb.
