Dr Mohammad MOSSADEQ had just one pledge on his Political Manifesto - a NATIONALIST PLEDGE - in running for office as Prime Minister - the solemn pledge to rid IRAN of British control over Iranian Oil - which was originally called Anglo (or English) Iranian Oil Company (AIOC) - later called "British Petroleum" (BP) - when the oil was at all times Iranian Oil! Britain spent it all - frittering it away to Rwanda and other latter-day colonies... in Africa... legacies of slavery that lasted over 100 years [as in Sierra Leone] but who was to benefit?
