@aftonlight Those are erythrocytes, the red cells in our blood that carry the oxygen and hydrogen. And the big cells are lymphocytes or white cells.

I have a tough time believing they are chylomicrons. They appear to swim in a random & circular motion. They swim around a 5-6 body diameter randomly and appear to be caused by a flagella.

I found some times the RBC surrounded by those "active" white dots. Do you believe that they are not living organisms?

What are the little tiny dots floating around by the hundreds?

In this clip they are mainly chylomicrons (fat droplets). Experienced examiners can also see symprotits and macrosymprotits.

How well can you see platelets using Darkfield Microscopy?

Very well with 1000x magnification, particularly platelet aggregation, which makes it a great tool to identify early stages of cardio-vascular diseases.
