Elizabeth Petten--We Will Never Forget You.

One of Ellie's good friends wrote her this letter to tell her how she feels, 3 months since she's died...RIP Elizabeth.

Elizabeth,

Three months have gone by, but it seems like forever. The time since you passed away has dragged on slower and slower, until I begin to wonder if it will stop entirely. I wish Id had the chance to say a proper goodbye. More than that, I wish Id had the chance to help you see a different way out. The shock is still living inside of me, surfacing everyday with almost all other emotions that exist. I never knew it was possible to feel such a deep pain and longing eating away at me. Even through my tears, whenever I look at your pictures I cant help but smile at all the amazing memories you shared with me. I wish I could thank you for everything you gave me, your love most of all. There are not enough words to describe how beautiful you were, both inside and out, so I will leave it up to everyone who knew you to remember for themselves. Im sure nobody who knew you could ever forget that gorgeous, joyful smile. What I love most is that the memories of your hugs and your laughter are the first ones that come to mind, and the ones I will always keep. It was too soon to lose you, but I know that you are safe and free of pain, which is one small comfort. I will never forget you. I promise to take all the amazing things you have shown me and use them in my own life in the best ways that I can. If you can hear me, I just want you to know that I love you. Rest in peace, sweetheart.

Learn to live with everything that's happened, yes. Make more friends, yes. Smile at the good memories and talk about you with happiness, yes. But you're a part of my thoughts every second of every day. And my dreams sometimes still. I want you in my life, forever. <3

May you rest in peace, may you always be remembered. <3 rest in peace, god speed. <3 it was four years, ago when i last seen you at school i remember the day we all heard you had passed away, thats when tears ran down my face, nobody deserves this pain to be bullied , i wish those people that bullied you, realized how bad they hurt you, many years ahead of you, but you wanted to be free from pain, sweetie i wish i could have helped you, <3 REST IN PEACE. <3
