http://www.fuzzyfoliage.com This was my first time performing this very delicate procedure--Needless to say, it was a bit scary!!

Each teeny-tiny plantlet had itty-bitty roots on the ends, which I set down on the potting mix as gently as possible. I did end up setting just about all of them down into the mix, but I didn't want the video to drag on for 20 minutes so I cut it short! :-)

  • As I said in your blog, Invest in one of those headband magnifiers! They work very well for tiny work like that. I use them when harvesting Pygmy Sundew gemmae.

  • @Tommyr --I have one, I am a jeweler. But that does nothing to prevent my big clumsy hands from crushing things lol

  • These little ones are much tougher than they look. I started separating mine about 2 weeks after germination. They all made it. You actually do less damage to the real small ones because they have such a small root system.
