New video angle, new audio! Let me know what you think of the newness! Be sure to check out the "High Quality" button underneath the view counter.

Recorded with the amazing new Zoom H2. If you don't have one and you're a gigging musician you are really missing out!

With the ability to record the acoustic now, I will hopefully start posting some of my solo work.

Enjoy! anddd thanks Chick! Only 14 more to go...

  • quien te persigue que tanto tu corres????

  • Un guepardo muy rápido.

  • It's good, though you should try to get more of Chick's timing.

  • Maybe by #20 I'll have it down!

  • It's really good to hear you on an acoustic. The juxtaposition of competing rhythms between left and right hands is really impressive. *****

  • Yes, the rhythms in that B section are really tough. Thanks.

  • Buenisimo tema. ok.

  • Wow, this is one of my favorite versions on youtube...makes a great iphone4 ringtone too!! Cheers.

  • Wow, like hearing a robot play. Try slower, more dynamic changes, and adding a solo part. Should be played with feeling, doubt I'll ever see a robot cry.

  • the right hand is rushing. I am not saying that its too fast overall, but the rhythm gets lost, to me it sounds rushed. For instance the Ds in Bars 2 and 4 almost sound like 1/8 notes although they are 1/4; which really de-emphasizes them. Second parts starts great but again starts running at 0:54. Left hand at 1:19 - 1:22 shows that he is still struggling with the rhythm although you can see he practised the runs quite excessively...

  • @realraven2000 I've heard Chick's own performance of this on ECM ... and it's not rushed in the slightest.

  • it is in face in 3/4 (6/8) having alternating compases.

  • Too fast.

  • lol i just realized left hand is in treble clef, well itll only be my third read haha

  • It's In 3/4 but I really don't get how...

  • could you scan the first page of it and send it to me please?
